Hi, I’m Amanda and I’m so glad you’re here!

Before we work together, I’d love for you to know a little about who I am and why this work matters so deeply to me. This work chose me long before I chose it. I have spent my career standing at thresholds.

As a Master of Social Work and seasoned leader across multiple roles within the helping professions, I built my life inside systems designed to support human healing, and it worked until it didn’t. Somewhere between the clinical frameworks, the leadership meetings, and the relentless giving, I found myself at a threshold I hadn't planned for: my own.

What followed was not a breakdown. It was a breaking open.

Navigating my own physical, mental, and spiritual unraveling, I did what I knew how to do: I went to the research, the theory, the evidence. My graduate-level training in trauma, the nervous system, and human behavior gave me a map. But it was what I found beyond the map that changed everything.

Reiki. Energy healing. Somatic practice. The wisdom of my own body, speaking in a language I had been taught to ignore for years.

What I discovered at the intersection of my MSW training and my holistic healing journey was something I had never been taught in any classroom: that the body holds what the mind cannot process, that energy is not separate from science, and that true healing asks us to come home, not to a diagnosis, not to a coping strategy, but to ourselves.

That discovery became Veil + Vessel.

Today, it is my passion to guide women through the same threshold I once crossed myself, through the veil of who they were told to be, and back into the vessel of their own sovereign, embodied power. I weave together the neuroscience of clinical social work, the internal intelligence of somatic healing, the precision of Reiki energy work, and the ancient wisdom of the divine feminine into a practice that honors the whole woman: her history, her nervous system, her magic, and her becoming.

This is not traditional therapy. It is not generic wellness. It is more rare, a space where your credentials and your intuition are both welcome. Where your grief and your power are treated as the same medicine. Where the woman who held everyone else together finally gets to be held and finally finds her authentic voice.
